Poland’s modular and prefabricated construction sector is booming, meeting domestic demand while expanding into markets like Scandinavia, the Baltics, Western Europe, and even the Arctic (notably, high-performance modules being shipped over 14,000 km to the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station)

Versatile Solutions
Polish firms offer a wide range of modern prefab technologies and building materials—concrete, steel, wood, and hybrid solutions—catering to a full range of commercial, residential, and institutional construction needs.

Poland’s Export Strength in numbers (2023 HS Data)

Poland’s modular construction exports, spanning steel frames (HS 7308), timber joinery (HS 4418), and prefabricated buildings (HS 9406), position it as a European leader:

Iron/Steel Structures (HS 7308):
Exports reached US $3.995 billion, ranking second in Europe (WITS Data).

Timber Joinery/Windows (HS 4418):
Exports totaled US $1.747 billion, with imports at US $0.172 billion, yielding a trade surplus of US $1.575 billion, the largest in Europe (WITS Data)

Prefabricated Buildings (HS 9406):
Exports hit US $0.454 billion, ranking fourth in the EU and seventh globally (WITS Data)

Total Exports (for HS: 7308, 4418, 9406):
Over US $6.196 billion, placing Poland just behind Germany and ahead of the Netherlands, reinforcing its role as a diversified, scale-ready supply hub.

Poland's strategic location in Central Europe, enhanced by access to major ports like Gdańsk, strengthens its logistical capabilities. By utilizing a skilled workforce and prioritizing sustainable, innovative construction techniques, the country is strategically aligned to seize opportunities in the expanding European and global prefabrication market in the decades ahead.
